Once Upon a Time DVD

Emilie will be featured on the season 1 DVD of Once Upon a Time. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (OUAT producers) revealed this in a new interview they did with Collider.

With Season 1 coming out on Blu-ray on August 28th, do you have any particular favorites on it, as far as the bonus features, deleted scenes and bloopers?

KITSIS: The blooper reel is fun. There’s a really fun building of a character, where you get to see us create Belle and work with Emilie de Ravin, and you get to see a story meeting with us and Emilie that we’re excited about.

Hopefully Emilie will be featured in the bloopers and some of the deleted scenes aswell.

Americana Not Picked Up

Sad news.. Despite all the good buzz Americana was getting, ABC decided not to pick it up. That means we won't see Emilie regularly on tv next fall :(  Let's hope Emilie gets to do more Once Upon a Time next fall or maybe a new movie role.

You can read more about this from Deadline.com.

Once Upon a Time - A Land Without Magic

Emilie will be in the next episode of Once Upon a Time. She will reprise her role as Belle. I posted the promo for the episode below. Sadly no Emilie in it.

A Land Wthout Magic will air on ABC next Sunday. It's also the season finale so don't miss it! Let's hope Emilie can come back for a few more episodes next season :)

New Project - "Air Force One Is Down"

Emilie confirmed on her twitter that she is in Luxembourg filming a tv mini-series called "Air Force One Is Down". Unfortunately I don't know much about this project. However Rachel Leigh from FanForum found an article about the series which I posted below. Watch out for spoilers! Emilie also confirmed on her twitter that her character is Francesca Romero. The mini-series will have 2 episodes.

Alistair Maclean’s highly charged novel is brought to life for a contemporary audience in this tense, international thriller.

Over a decade after the atrocities of the Yugoslav civil war, General Arkady Dragutin, a Serbian warlord wanted for genocide, torture and crimes against humanity, is finally captured by Irish UN Captain Fergus Markey.

Meanwhile, glamorous all-American reporter Francesca Romero is given the job of a lifetime aboard Air Force One as the US Secretary of State flies to Belgrade to help broker Serbia’s entry into NATO. But within hours a national emergency arises when the aircraft’s pilots lose control and they disappear from radar. Air Force One is down.

Back on the ground, Markey discovers support for Dragutin is still strong in Serbia when a local military unit in a hunt for the General’s faithful Lieutenant Miloz Petrovic betrays him. Markey flees for his life, pursued by the soldiers who are now under Petrovic’s orders, and goes to ground in the mansion of despondent British diplomat and former MI5 agent Sebastian Fanshawe.

The two reluctant companions escape Petrovic’s militia and are shocked when they happen upon Air Force One on a disused airfield and some of its passengers being escorted away by armed men. Momentarily, in America a phone call gives a two-hour deadline for the exchange of the Secretary of State for the imprisoned Dragutin.

Francesca Romero, who is in fact a Russian intelligence agent, escapes and teams up with Markey and Fanshawe. As they attempt to unveil Petrovic’s scheme a stealth bomber also goes missing and a message is issued threatening to bring death and terror to the very heart of Europe.

This exhilarating, fast-paced two part mini series sees unlikely allies formed in a quest to save one of history’s greatest cities, and the lives of millions.

I'm Back!

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been super busy with my personal life. Fortunately nothing big has happened during my absence.

Here's some news:

First of all, Americana has been received quite well in the test screenings. We should know soon if it will be picked up by ABC. As for Emilie, she is currently in Luxembourg working (she posted this on her twitter). I have no idea what she is working on but I'm hoping it's a new movie. Let's hope we hear more soon!

Emilie has also posted a few new pics on her twitter during my absence. You can see the pics on her twitter page here!

Oh and I almost forgot, Emilie de Ravin World has been online for FIVE years. I can't believe that. I started this blog May 1st 2007. Thank's everyone for visiting the site. I hope EdrWorld is online at least for five more years :)

Americana & Once Upon a Time News

The pilot for Americana has been filmed. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed and hope ABC picks it up. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something about it!

As we all knew already, Emilie will be back as Belle on Once Upon a Time. Her episode will air in May (I think she will be in the season finale). Here's a little article that confirms her return officially.

Once Upon a Time Emilie de RavinDe Ravin, who plays Rumpel’s true love Belle, will reprise her role in an episode airing next month. While her fairy tale character was recently seen giving love advice to dwarf Grumpy, it’s been a while since viewers have glimpsed her Storybrooke counterpart, who has been locked up in a ward by Regina.
“She’s sitting there [alive], with the person who loves her [Rumpelstiltskin] not realizing it, and he would be someone I would not want to piss off,” co-creator Eddie Kitsis previously teased.

Americana - Plot Description and Logo

AMERICANA - 1 HOUR
DRAMA
SHOW INFO -
It turns out clothes really do make the man. Legendary designer Robert Soulter (Anthony LaPaglia - Without a Trace) has transformed his fashion label "Americana" into a remarkable family dynasty. It's not just a billion dollar company, it's the most iconic brand in the world. At Americana, everyone works hard and plays even harder. The Soulter family lives in a modern day Oz and Robert Soulter is the Wizard. Beyond the glitz and glamour, the fashion business has a notorious dark side. This year, you're a genius. Next year, you're out. But one thing's for sure... you have to watch your back. And Robert had better watch his, because a power struggle is just beginning. It's the established powerbrokers versus the young and ambitious. After 30 years of being the king of his industry, someone wants Robert replaced. Shockingly, that someone might be his wife Sierra (Christine Adams - Terra Nova), his ex-wife Wendy (Natalie Mendoza - Hotel Babylon), or one of his own children, Jesse (David Alpay) and Francesca (Emilie De Ravin - Lost). Alice Garano (Ashley Greene - Twilight), an up-and-coming young designer who just graduated from a top New York fashion school, could be the next Marc Jacobs or Alexander Wang. Except she just made a deal to work for her father Martin Soulter (Ken Olin - Brothers and Sisters) at his garment factory. That deal becomes impossible to honor when she meets her estranged uncle, Robert Soulter for the first time. Though Alice knows how much her father resents his famous brother, no one has ever talked about their 25 year feud. Alice can't resist Robert's invitation to discuss her work and a potential future at Americana. As Robert lures Alice deeper into his web, she feels like all of her dreams are coming true. Though what she has yet to realize is the dream comes with a cost - a family secret that could shatter everything she wants and everyone she loves, if it's ever revealed. Executive producers Mark Gordon (Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds) and Michael Seitzman (North Country) and director Phillip Noyce (Revenge) take you inside a glittering world of catwalks and catfights, to reveal the deliciously ugly side of the beautiful people who work in fashion, and explore the lengths people will go to protect their secrets.
